If you are on XP, just go to start, Connect toWireless Network Connection. If that doesn't work, go to Start, Control Panel and Wireless Network Setup Wizzard A new window will open. Right-click Local Area Connection and make sure Bridge Connections is NOT selected. Windows XP. Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections. In the Network Connections window, right-click on an active Ethernet connection (Local Area Connection Enabled) and make sure Bridge Connections is NOT selected. Ok, I have no idea how to fix this. Down on the start bar theres a little computer icon with a red X over it. When I click on it, it says that I am disconnected, even though im online. Do I have to buy a c Re: local area connection 2 network cable unplugged message This thread has been locked due to inactivity.For assistance,with same issue or a different issue,please click New Post on the top right to start a New Thread. after running for between 3 - 10 minutes everything seems ok and then i get "local area connection - network cable unplugged" notice on my pc. it's not the cable as it only happens since running emule and the network connection immediately corrects itself the moment emule closes. checked the event log and there are no 4226 errors.
